Attendance that takes a minute, and tells parents who missed class
Attendance is not just a tick sheet. In GIMS it belongs to the student, their batch and the day — so the record is there when a parent or a teacher needs an answer.
How it works

Open today’s classes
Your batches for the day, in timetable order, each showing whether attendance is pending, partly done or done.

Mark the register
Present, absent or late for each student. Mark everyone present first and change only the few who weren’t.

Absent students hear the same day
Students marked absent in today’s class get an email — at most one a day per class.

See it on the profile
Each student’s attendance percentage and full history sit on their profile and in their own portal.

Teachers can take attendance from Grawity Classroom. It’s the same register, so both apps always agree.
Month and overall
The dashboard shows attendance for this month and overall.
Can attendance be changed after saving?
Yes. Open the batch for that date and save again; the new marks replace the old ones.
Who gets the absence email?
The student, at their email address, only for today’s attendance and at most once a day per class.
Can a teacher who doesn’t use GIMS take attendance?
Yes, from Grawity Classroom. It writes to the same register in GIMS.
